Vacancy-Finance Officer

Job Summary

We are looking to hire a Part-time Finance Officer for our office in Erbil, Iraq. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the day to day transactions of our firm. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accountancy.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets
  • Managing records and receipts
  • Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions
  • Preparing balance sheets
  • Processing invoices
  • Developing an in-depth knowledge of organisational products and process
  • Providing customer service to clients
  • Resolve financial disputes raised by the customer service and sales teams
  • Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
  • Supporting the Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in finance in a professional setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel and other ERPs
  • Fluency in English language, Arabic and Kurdish are a plus
