Videography Trainer
Job Summary
Smithson is looking for a Videography Trainer to work with our team in Duhok. The successful candidate must have at least 7 years of experience. Work duration will be 15 days. Below is a summary of the responsibilities and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- How to operate video cameras, on location or in the studio, in the production of professional pre-recorded programming;
- How to design, transports, sets up, and operates production equipment, including audio and lighting equipment, for field and studio productions;
- The right methods of computer edits video segments on a variety of tape and digital formats;
- Provide tips and advises on complete trouble and preventive maintenance reports on video and audio production equipment; assists in repair and upkeep of studio and production sets and properties;
- How to maintain equipment inventory and field and studio production schedules; and
- How to perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in college of Fine Arts, or related field;
- At least 4 years of experience in the design and implementation of Videography and at least 3 years of training experience in the field of Videography;
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is a plus;
- Ability to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform repairs to audio and video equipment.
- Records maintenance skills;
- Ability to configure, operate and maintain studio and/or field audio, lighting and associated production equipment;
- Knowledge of computerized tape editing applications and procedures;
- Knowledge of professional audio and/or video tape editing and post-production procedures, techniques, and standards.
