Job Summary

Smithson is looking for a Business English Trainer to work with our team in Sulaymaniyah. The successful candidate must have at least 7 years of experience. Work duration will be 35 days. Below is a summary of the responsibilities and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • The trainer should teach the participants how to accurately use the language of negotiations;
  • Make effective presentations in business situations;
  • How to speak confidently and effectively in business meetings;
  • Using special vocabulary in formal business and colloquial business jargon;
  • Recognize the features of different genres of business correspondence, such as memos, emails, and business letters as well as business articles and essays;
  • Employ strategies to be a successful employee in the workplace; and
  • How to prepare for and participate in debates on business topics.

Qualifications

  • BSc in English Language or English Literature, Master degree is preferred;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching Business English and 4 years of experience in Business English;
  • Experience in a professional setting;
  • Knowledge of various teaching/learning methods;
  • A patient and resilient personality;
  • The ability to compile lesson plans efficiently;
  • The ability to execute lessons with meaning, in a fun, and engaging manner.
