Job Summary

Smithson is looking for an Adobe Premiere and After Effects Trainer to work with our team in Duhok. The successful candidate must have at least 7 years of experience. Work duration will be 25 days. Below is a summary of the responsibilities and qualifications.

Responsibilities

Adobe Premiere

The trainer is expected to deliver the following points to the participants:

  • Teach the participants the advanced workflows to enhance their postproduction work, including visual effects, color correction, grading and exporting;
  • Teach the participants the advanced techniques such as 3D tracking, color correction and grading;
  • Explain the keying techniques in Adobe Premiere, such as Luma Mattes and Spill Suppression;
  • Explain the animation, deeper modes of expression; and
  • Gaining knowledge on Photoshop, Speed Grade, and Audition integrate with Premiere.

Adobe After Effects

The trainer is expected to deliver the following points to the participants:

  • The basics of creating projects, compositions, and layers;
  • Importing footage, including video, audio, and still images;
  • Creating special effects using the Effects menu;
  • Creating animation for shapes, objects, and layers;
  • Adding and animating text;
  • Drawing shapes;
  • Animating shapes;
  • Creating and using masks and track mattes;
  • Working in 3D;
  • Using the puppet tools to create animated characters and effects; and
  • Extracting and removing objects from layers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT Engineering, IT or equivalent;
  • 4 years of experience in working with Adobe applications is mandatory and at least 3 years of training experience;
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences;
  • Written and oral proficiency in English and Arabic languages;
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects and their learning principles;
  • Adequate knowledge of learning management software;
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities;
  • Should also have good presentation and communication skills, an appreciation of cultural diversity, and a focus on continuous learning and improvement.
